Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant with CSL you will be an essential member of our administration team. You will assist the VP Operations to ensure that all aspects of the business run smoothly. Our ideal candidate will bring to the job a positive personality and a willingness to wear many hats. Knowledge of office management, accounting, human resources management, marketing, and social media are required. A willingness to take on unfamiliar tasks and learn new skills is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to CSL administration, particularly the VP Operations as needed
  • Assist with office management
  • Create marketing materials for our software product and help with the preparation of presentations
  • Maintain and update CSL’s website and LinkedIn page
  • Assist with HR tasks and administration of Career Fairs
  • Assist with organization of CSL retreats and social events

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar, or 5+ years of experience managing a small business
  • At least 2 years experience working in a small consulting business
  • Demonstrated marketing and bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Very strong writing and communication skills and ability to produce high quality documents and marketing materials

Bonus points for additional experience/expertise in any of the following areas

  • Knowledge about the inner workings of a consulting company
  • Experience with managing Human Resources tasks (e.g., job postings, onboarding, vacation and time tracking)
  • Knowledge of administration of employee benefits plans

Special considerations:

Successful candidates must be located in Vancouver, Canada and currently legally able to work in Canada.
